Answer

Ok, Ok I will tell you what the mystery photo is. I was trying to wait for Mom and Dad to see it, but that might take a while and everyone wants to know :)
..... it was fresh bear poop! You can only imagine how excited Adam was to find it, all fresh and recent, he kept commenting on how you can see the liquid or urine around the droppings it was so recent.
So it wasn't me who took the photo, as soon as he showed me the poop I knew a photo was going to be taken. It was like no other poop I had seen before! It really looked like cranberries and oatmeal to me. That is one healthy bear. Good thing he was long gone when we came!
Thanks for playing along with my little game :)

Cache La Poudre River

Adam had a few days off, so when he caught up on sleep we took a little trip exploring.
This is the Cache La Poudre River. We went for a little day trip driving up the canyon that follows this river. Adam would like to come back for some fly fishing, he saw some great spots! Can you guess what this is left fresh for us that same morning??? Take the poll!!!Here Kyler is giving his typical cheesy smile.
Time for our picnic lunch
Kyler couldn't resist the water, he just had to splash in it! Here he is picking up some "cones" in the water
we must have walked with back and forth with Kyler at least 50 times! As you can imagine, he was ticked when it was time to go!!!

Not happy to be going!
It was a fun trip! It was pretty arid in this canyon, but on our way back we found another road away from the river and it had lots of pines and green grassy meadows. There were some beautiful cabins we saw as well, too bad they aren't ours! We are excited to explore another part of the mountains near us and hopefully find some better campgrounds. The campsites in this canyon are for tents and were $16 a night!!! some didn't even have water. We would like to explore the Rocky Mountain National park also when we have some more time, because it's $20 just to drive thru there! So we'd want to spend some time and get our money's worth. We couldn't believe the prices these Colorado hippies charge for their precious mountains :) j/k. It was nice to get out of town and explore.

This was the pond that was home to some huge rainbow trout. Jenn and I threw some food in there and they went crazy--it was like a boiling pot of water as the fish fought over the tiny morsels of food.

These are our pictures on our way to Payson this weekend to celebrate my birthday. We stopped at a little creek (Tonto Creek) and took some pictures while we soaked our feet in the cool water. That was a lot of fun and it was very beautiful scenery. Shortly after we were at the creek, we went to the fish hatchery and looked at all of the huge trout swimming in this pond.
When we got back home we went to Black Angus and had steak. We later went to coldstone and got some good ice cream and watched Rush Hour 2 so that we could fully prepare ourselves for Rush Hour 3, which just hit theatres.
Hope you guys are all well!
